Regarding MidFielders
MidFielder is my Term for what you Earthlings call "Middle LineBackers", as I find the term "LineBacker" to be both denigrating to the Players, themselves, and also ridiculously clunky. "MidFielder" just feels far more correct to me.
When evaluating MidFielders, these are the Attributes to which I pay most particular attention:
Processing Speed ~ How Rapidly do they Read & React to the developing Play?
Combat ~ How effective are they with their Hands ~ their Punch & Placement?
Fluidity ~ How Serpentine are they with their moves, as they try to get free and make a Play?
Lateral Agility ~ How Adept are they at skittering right and left to respond as the Play develops?
Verticity ~ That's "Capacity to Turn & Burn in Pass Defense", to you Earthlings!!
Intangibles ~ Motor & Diagnostic Capacity & Processing Speed

Kevin Minter seems to me to be a classic MidFielder, which is to say that his greatest Strengths lie in making Tackles In The Box, but that he's not at'is best tracking SideLine to SideLine or in Pass Defense.
And I believe that that dramatically limits his Potential in the 21st Century.
