Sun Devils ~ 6006/250
When evaluating MidFielders, these are the Attributes to which I pay most particular attention:
Run Defense ~ Processing Speed, Power, Agility, and Mechanics as he Works Traffic and of course Tackling.
Pass Coverage ~ Processing Speed, Agility, and Verticity. Tackling.
Pass Rush ~ Power, Agility, and Mechanics.
Intangibles ~ Processing Speed, Field Vision, and Motor.
Pass Coverage ~ Competitive. He's not very experienced, here, so he's still raw and will need development, of course, but Bradford displays impressive Verticity ~ that's Turn & Burn Acuity, Earthlings!! ~ and excellent Field Vision.
Pass Rush ~ Intriguing Potential. Despite his impressive Core Power, his Length will often get'm blown the Hell up, but his Launch Velocity, his Fluidity, and his Closing Speed are all superior, his Mechanics are solid, and his Motor is utterly relentless, so while his Length inhibits his Combat Skills, I expect he'll create a great deal of Disruption.
Intangibles ~ Outstanding. Bradford brings that sweet combination of exceptional Motor and Processing Speed to the Field of Battle. He is by all accounts as intense and dedicated in the Film Room as he is on the Field, as a clear result of which his relentless Motor is matched by tremendous Field Vision and extraordinary Instincts in all Aspects of the Game.
Despite a lack of Length that hinders him in most Aspects of the Game, he consistently overcame that at Arizona State, indeed often using it to'is advantage, and I'm convinced that he'll do precisely that at The Next Level.
He'll probably get washed out sometimes in Run Defense and blown up on some Pass Rushes, but his Core Power and Fluidity are impressive, and I believe that this will happen a lot less often than one might expect.
He strikes me a guy who's very likely going to develop into a solid, effective Player in all Aspects of the Game, and perhaps an exceptional one in the Pass Rush. And I see'm becoming of those guys who Makes Plays when you need'm most.
Thanks, as always, to the extraordinary Work by the men of Draft BreakDown!!
