2010: Started all of Tech's games at center for the second straight season. Named first-team all-ACC for the second straight season.
2009- Sean grabbed the starting job at center in spring practice and went on to start all 14 games. He was named first team All-ACC.
2008- He had played defensive line before switching to offensive because head coach Paul Johnson thought that he would have a better chance of playing because of his great work ethic. Saw action at backup center in just two games.
2007- A great member of the scout team. Saw action vs. Army (October 20th)
2006- Joined as a walk-on. Was redshirted. He is majoring in Aerospace Engineering. One of, if not, the smartest player on the football team.
Strengths: Self made man. Former walk-on his not "entitled." Very smart. Good leadership skills. Perfect triple-option college center who is quick on his feet. Relentless. Technician. Despite size limitations he gets by on guts, technique and leverage. Field fast. Lives on the second level. Solid ball handler. Fires out low and level and keeps driving as a run blocker. Fiery. Plays bigger than he lists.
Weaknesses: Short with short arms. Must be on the move to be effective. Gets stood up and driven back in pass pro. Gets neutralized in the run game too when he doesn't beat his man off the ball. Sometimes gets too high, and then he invariably loses. Average cut blocker.
Projection: Quick zone-blocking, pulling OC/guard who must go to the right scheme. 7th round talent, depending on team needs. Could go undrafted."
