"Possesses decent overall girth for the position, lacks ideal height but is a long-armed defensive end who can sit into his stance and extend his arms in the run game. Possesses decent anchor strength at the point of attack, but lacks ideal balance through the play and has a tough time working his legs through contact. Can easily be sealed out on the edge, struggles to fight his way back toward the football and isn't real sudden or violent when asked to disengage through contact.
Lacks a great burst off the edge as a pass rusher and isn't a guy who will routinely be able to threaten the corner at the next level. Loves to work his outside club move in order to keep himself clean and work his way toward the quarterback and drop his pad level once he gains a step. Can play low and gain some leverage, but doesn't have a great initial burst to close even when he gains a step and doesn't offer a ton as a pass rusher. Gets upright on his bull rush, despite his size and struggles to push the pocket.
