Positive: Athletic and underrated left tackle with good upside. Quickly sets up in pass protection, bends his knees, and blocks with leverage. Fluid moving about the field, easily adjusts to defenders and can pick up the blitz or hit a moving target. Shows ability as a position blocker, keeps his feet moving, and is effective in motion.
Negative: Does not use his hands well and tends to do too much catching of defenders rather than jolting them with good punch. Falls asleep at times and is late picking up assignments or recognizing blitzes. Marginal strength in his base and really does not get movement at the point of attack.
Analysis: Culbreath is a tall, angular athlete with good athleticism and football skill for the next level. He must improve his strength and learn to consistently play with proper mechanics but has enough underlying ability to help him secure a spot a practice squad this fall."
