However he runs upright, doesn't maintain much balance when running inside and can easily be tripped up/brought down on initial contact. Exhibits solid balance when trying to stay on his feet when someone doesn't wrap, but struggles staying compact/balanced in order to reach top end speed and acceleration.
Leaves his feet too often trying to make defenders miss or fight for additional yards. Exhibits a little cut-back ability when pressing the edge, but will slow his footwork at times when he can cut off his right foot.
Isn't overly instinctive feeling his way through traffic inside and doesn't exhibit the short area quickness to pick his way through traffic and accelerate into daylight. Looks more like linear runner to me.
Will catch the football out of the backfield. Isn't the most natural of pluckers, but secures the football into his frame. Exhibits solid stop/go ability in space in order to lose an angle on a defender and create initially in the open field, but doesn't have the type of lateral suddenness to pair a number of moves together and make number of tacklers miss.
Is a heady kid in blitz pick-up, locates defenders quickly and lacks ideal power and/or anchor strength, but he extends his hands well and can find his target before being overwhelmed/slipped.
Impression: A bit of a linear back with a good first step, but isn't a guy who will make NFL defenders miss in tight areas. Runs hard but upright, and looks like a free agent back to me."
Has thin legs and ankles with marginal run strength, and his speed and acceleration are just average.
Could struggle grasping a complex NFL playbook and character needs to be investigated."
Has good vision, runs low to the ground, and has a burst in the hole; can also make people miss in space and is a good pass receiver with 35 career receptions; not very big or physical, though, and has never been the feature back at FSU;
Has 1,800 career yards but never more than 800 in anyone year; has also had issues with a knee."
