Strengths: Hard-nosed brawler of a QB with a LB mentality. Very smart on and off the field. Strong runner who will run over people. Confident, and composed, with great self-assurance--the kind that comes from solid preparation. Loves contact. Pretty accurate with the shorter routes. Has been a leader for one of America's best FCS programs for the past three years. Shows some touch. Makes good decisions. Just wins. Has played safety in the past, and may have the flexibility and speed to be looked at as a possible SS candidate.
Weaknesses: Not sure his future home is at QB. May be a better all-purpose back at the next level, who will have to carve out a niche for himself on special teams first. Odd body type for a QB. Neither a great passer nor a great runner. Average athleticism for a QB, and average QB tools as a passer.
Projection: 7th rounder or priority UDFA."
