However, plays fast, exhibits good balance as a route runner and showcases a savvy/body control to his game that really allows him to set up his routes. Plays fast in and out of his breaks. Is a fluid kid who can snap out of his breaks when asked to work down the field and in the three-step game.
Does a nice job changing speeds, looking off defenders and using a little shoulder wiggle in order to get corners off balance. Keeps himself balanced and displays a burst to initially separate. Isn't quite as explosive when running sharply breaking routes, gets a bit sloppy out of his breaks and tends to round his breaks a bit and separation is only average.
Exhibits good body control and focus when asked to pluck off his frame. However, at times will lose focus, especially when corners are bearing down on him and will let the ball get into his body and put the football on the ground. Needs to do a better job securing the ball with corners around him.
Exhibits good run after the catch ability. Is quick in tight areas, knows how to set up defenders leaning one way, put his foot in the ground and accelerate the other way Showcases some make-you miss ability in the open field and can create after the catch.
Has experience in the kick return game as well. Sets up blocks naturally and despite not being the most physical of return men, can make a man miss and accelerate toward daylight quickly.
Impression: Showcases good short area quickness and the ability to set up routes. Would like to see him do a better job separating in tight areas and catching the ball in traffic. But, has been extremely productive and at worst looks like a sub package NFL option inside."
