Strengths: Experienced, productive defender who combines speed and toughness. Great lateral movement and anticipation - but sometimes uses poor angles. Uses active feet and hands to get through traffic. Usually gets to the spot and makes the tackle. Has above-average awareness in zone coverage - gets depth quickly. Experience as safety has resulted in solid man-to-man coverage skills. Could be a special teams standout at the next level.
Weaknesses: Below average bulk with average height may be a concern - limited ability to shed the blocker and tackle in the hole. Sometimes misreads offensive linemen and can be vulnerable to counters; sometimes plays overaggressively.
