Owen Marecic is absolutely One Of A Kind.
As a starting Full Back AND Mid Fielder ~ that's Middle LineBacker, to you Earthlings ~ Owen Marecic brings an utterly inspiring love of the Game to the table. Ultimately, it seems unlikely that he'll be much more than a Full Back at the Pro level...But you never know.
Marecic is a Neo Classic Full Back, by which I mean: a Blocking specialist who runs or catches the ball every once in a while. The Classic Full Back ~ unlike Marecic ~ did all three more or less equally, but the Game continues to evolve, and there has grown a dramatic difference in skill sets between a bull dozing Lead Blocker like Marecic, on the one hand, and a Classic Full Back like Stan Havili, who is more or less equally involved with all three aspects.
Of course, fewer and fewer teams even deploy the more specialized Lead Blocker types, like Marecic, and it may well be that his is a dying breed. A Full Back who is not a true Running threat ~ and perhaps only a marginal Receiving threat ~ may make his team's play calling too predictable. It may well be that in the very near future, all Full Backs will have to either evolve ~ or devolve? ~ into the Class Full Service Full Back, or seek another line of work.
Given that, Owen Marecic is, as the Game currently plays, an invaluable Warrior: A Lead Blocker of sufficient Power but exceptional Technique: a Technician who's outstanding Processing Speed, passionate Work Ethic, Dedication to his team, insatiable Passion, and unrelenting Tenacity make for a Force whose effect on his teammates and on the Enemy DWARFS that which his talent level ought warrant.
Beast!!

I find it amusing that the above Scouting Reports employ profuse use of terms such as "traditional" and "throwback" to describe the style of Henry Hynoski, as they often do to describe any Full Back who can't do much running or receiving...But the reality is that the true "Classic" Full Back was, indeed, a "Full" Back: He did it all: Blocking, Running, AND Receiving: This currently popular notion of a "throwback" Full Back as a guy who specialized in Blocking, with little thought given to the other skills, is pure Urban Legend: In the old days, when rosters were FAR smaller, every last player on Offense HAD to master several skills in order to retain his job...and MOST of them played full time on DEFENSE, as well!!
It's only been the modern era, and dramatically expanded rosters, that've spawned the era of "Specialists."
Even so, the "Full Back" ~ a term I use ONLY to describe these specialists who offer superior Blocking skills but not much else ~ is an Endangered Species, for the simple reason that if you cart a guy out on the field whose dominant skill is Blocking, you leave very little question ~ for the Defense ~ as to what you're going to be doing with him: Being adept at multiple skills at the alleged "Skill" positions is increasingly vital to survive in this league, much less thrive. Given that...
Henry Hynoski is a good prospect as a Blocker, though his Technique needs works, above all his Crouch. He CAN catch the ball or run it, but does neither with particular skill. Projected as a Late Rounder, he offers substantial value as a role player.
Solid.

Anthony Sherman doesn't bring much as a Runner or Receiver, but he is a FEROCIOUS Lead Blocker, and also brings an explosive element to Special Teams!!
The Lead Blocking Specialist Full Back may or may not be a dying breed, but considering that Sherman is projected to be a 6th or 7th Rounder ~ recently upgraded from Free Agent!! ~ and that his impact on a team that's actually schemed to make good use of his services should DWARF the investment needed...I can't call him a Boomer or a Sleeper, so I think I'll just call him...a Winner, for the team that drafts him.
Win!!
