Patrick Peterson is head and shoulders above any Corner in this Draft Class, as I see it.
Verticity ~ the ability to Turn + Burn ~ is the Cardinal Measuring Stick with Corner Backs, in my twisted view of life...And Patrick Peterson commands exceptional Verticity.
He brings spectacular Long Speed, excellent Fluidity, great Instincts, and long arms to the table, as well.
He's a poor Tackler, and his Technique in the Passing Game needs work.
But Patrick Peterson is, all in all, an outstanding Corner Back prospect, and will likely forge an extraordinary career.

As always, the preceding thoughts were regurgitated, derivative tripe, adding no value whatsoever, while in fact obliterating intelligent thought and offending the spirit of all decent men. You are now stupider for having read it, and are encouraged, in the strongest possible language, never to expose your eyes to this Site again.

"Prince" Amukamara doesn't play nearly as fast as his "40" time, it seems to me.
Mind you: He displays excellent Instincts, tremendous Fluidity, and outstanding Verticity ~ Turn + Burn Speed.
He projects to be a very damned good Corner in this league...But I believe that his Top 10 projection is FAR above his true value.
Over Rated!!

Hoo, boy.
There's no question that Jimmy Smith is a talented Corner Back, though it seems he's far better in Press than in Zone. But as long a he's only asked to play Press Coverage, he could be phenomenal.
Character issues?? Well, that's beyond the scope of what I do, for the most part.
The reality is that Jimmy Smith has potential to be Star in this league.
Buyer Beware.

Aaron Williams is probably the best Press Corner in the Draft, for the first 5 Yards: He's got the frame for the job, and he's tough and tenacious at the Line of Scrimmage.
However, the rest of his game worries me. Verticity ~ Turn + Burn Acuity ~ is absolutely vital to a Corner's Game, and he struggles mightily with this. He is neither Fluid nor Explosive out of his Breaks.
And his Diagnostic Skills + Processing Speed also need considerable improvement.
Frankly, I think he's going to have major problems out there...and he's projected as a borderline 1st Rounder.
Bust!!

Brandon Harris brings excellent Fluidity, good Long Speed, sharp Instincts, and exceptional Verticity ~ Turn + Burn ~ to the table.
He does seem much better suited to play Zone, as he lacks top end Strength, and can be shunted aside at the Line of Scrimmage too easily in Press. But in the Zone, he should be very effective, indeed.
