QuarterBack
Ohio State BuckEyes
6033/231
Precision ~ 50
Poise & Pocket Presence ~ 40
FirePower ~ 40
Haskins often fails to navigate his Progressions quickly enough to make the right throw in a timely manner...But sometimes he is quick enough, and that's pretty damned good for a 1 year starter. And while his decisions get really shaky under Pressure, his Poise is excellent. It's just that he hasn't yet developed the Processing Speed to quickly make the right decisions, a Liability which is of course exacerbated by a rapidly constricting window of opportunity.
There're many holes in his game: his Mechanics are shaky, and as a result his Precision is inconsistent and his FirePower suffers as well. All in all, he's raw, and shaky Mechanics are a Red Flag, as those are often uncorrectable.
I'm going with Overrated, because his chances of flopping are very, very real, and the QuarterBack Market is often ludicrously bloated, especially in barren years like this one. But the Brains and Work Ethic are clearly there, and if he continues on the path of translating his Diagnostic Acuity into functional Processing Speed, he could become a very solid Starter.
