Displays above-average balance and footwork when asked to reach the edge in pass protection. Did a nice job staying compact on his kick-slide and didn't seem to get too overextended with his footwork. However, struggled to really sit into his stance and keep his base under him off the edge. Also, is really tight in the hips, really seemed to fight himself when trying to reach the corner vs. speed and isn't athletic enough to hold his own in the pass game at the next level. Has a tendency to lunge into blockers on his punch as well and would lose his balance easily when asked to be physical through contact.
Impression: A size free agent only who will have a tough time making a roster because of his liabilities in the pass game."
Positive: Large blocking prospect best in pass protection. Bends knees, quickly gets his hands up, and keeps his head on a swivel. Sets with a wide base, works to stays square, and is a solid position blocker who controls defenders once engaged at the point of attack. Turn defenders off the line or knocks them from the pass rush angle.
Negative: Lacks top footwork at left tackle. Overextends into blocks. Not fluid and does not play with balance.
Analysis: Hendrickson is a big prospect who needs a lot of work to complete his game. He has a chance to develop as a backup right tackle if he adds bulk and improves as a run blocker."
