Positive: Feisty, opportunistic cornerback who lacks the size/speed numbers for the next level. Quick-footed moving in reverse, fluid turning his hips in transition, and shows a burst of closing speed. Possesses a nice break to the ball, plays with an aggressive attitude, and throws his body around the field in order to defend plays. Gets his teammates in the secondary in proper position and works hard.
Negative: Loses out battling opponents. Does a lot of trailing in coverage.
Analysis: Cook was a solid college cornerback yet lacks the size and speed to be anything other than a dime back in the NFL. Could be the eighth player in the secondary for an NFL squad if he proves his worth on special teams."
Strengths: Good coverage ability and production.
Weaknesses: Too short/small to cover NFL receivers.
