Now, at 5-10, 190 pounds, he isn’t real physical inside and does go down pretty easily on contact. And what was even more concerning to me at this stage is that he seems to lack a great feel in the pass game, failing at times to get his head around and locate the football once he was able to separate.
However, the skill set is there for this guy to definitely be a sub-package type threat for an NFL offense."
Also has outstanding cutback ability and can turn on a dime without losing speed or momentum; also very elusive in the open field, but is not very big or physical and isn’t going to break many tackles or move the pile;
Dangerous with the ball in his hands after the catch, but isn’t a natuatl receiver with only average hands; can also return KOs; needs to be healthy, though, after missing almost half the 2010 season with a strained toe ligament."
Negatives: Small for an NFL running back... Not a great receiver, hands are very inconsistent... Has suffered a couple lingering injuries this season, causing him to miss three games... Doesn't drive his legs well, can be pushed backwards... Lacks power when he's running, gets drug down far too easily... Would be wise to return to school for his junior season, hasn't put up great numbers yet and could be a first round pick next year if he stays healthy... Raw in pass coverage, tears at jerseys, needs to be coached on technique."
